The Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program will be an opportunity for me to grow professionally and personally. Teaching in the U.S. classroom for a semester will equip me with the latest technology in education and design research based projects for the students. I look forward to interacting with the teachers and students from diverse backgrounds. I want to share my knowledge of Indian society and culture with people in America. The exposure in the U.S. will also enable me to guide the school students with their college application overseas. In India, I work with the young victims of HIV, trafficking and prostitution. I would like to gain a deeper insight into how Americans deal with these social issues. |
